Some Prometheus storyboards
Here are some frames created for Prometheus. Mostly from the intro, and
some unpublished ones too of shots that will probably never see the
light of day. Neville Page is the creator of the Engineer creature

Coming soon! Prometheus and more
A simple entry to announce the shortly upcoming update of the work I have done over the last 4 years, on Tron legacy, The Thing and Prometheus. I am currently working on classifying images, and the Tron Legacy section will have completely new, unpublished before images including captions! As the marketing department is showing more and more images for Prometheus I will also show some of the concepts created during the year I worked on it under Ridley Scott and Arthur Max, alongside Ben Procter and Steven Messing.
And for now, just a few images... Storyboards, Sets and Props.

Prometheus
Very happy to see some of the work we did within the incredible art department for Prometheus finding itself online through their viral campaign. Very impressive to see how Fox is taking the release of that movie so seriously, and it is an extremely rewarding feeling to see the full use of the art department's work meshed well within marketing. Quite rare. You can also view on there of the incredible work of Ben Procter, Steven messing and other teamsters.
Can't wait to see this movie! Prometheus is directed by Ridley Scott, and the production design is by Arthur Max.

The analytic Lens
Poltergeist illustration copyright David Levy 2012 |
You like movies to such a point that you wonder what the essence behind them really is? Then this site is for you, I am constantly trying to understand the deeper thinking behind a story, and how it links to our daily lives and thinking. My girlfriend, Amy Bandera is a psychoanalytically trained psychologist who writes screenplays and practices forensic psychology in Los Angeles combined her passions into one blog, I hope you'll enjoy it! Oh, and I am illustrating her posts too :)

Land Yacht
What do the steambot guys do in the weekend after designing all week? They design some more!
Three weekends, two servos, home depot, an erector set, three roller blade wheels and 9 knots of wind. Probably the most fun you can have with 9 knots of wind!
The piloting is done in one hand, so I apologize for the mediocre camera work and pilot work.
Had to take my mind away from work in the weekends, that did the trick! Now I can go back to work...

Dedicated to my dad
My dad used to be an avid sailor. My memory of him will always be adorning a red sailing gear, smoking a cigarette in a storm with a big smile. I remember being a kid, we were going through a rough sea around "les bouches du Rhone" and I was petrified with fear. I kept imagining what it would be like if the boat capsized, or if something suddenly broke like the mast or the rudder. In general I was an anxious kid, and fear would just exacerbate sea sickness. In many ways, sailing became a remedy for my shyness, anxiety and lack of confidence.
For many years on, we did not talk or get along, until he announced me he was sick. We did one last trip together sailing in the Mediterranean sea and laid our battles to rest.
Few years ago, when he passed away, his ashes were being thrown in the same sea. I sometimes wonder if in some way he has become one with his favorite place.
This image is dedicated to my dad.
